THE EXPERIENCE

This path is dedicated to those who wish to encounter Damanhur not merely as a place, but as an inner experience. It is not simply a visit.

The Art and Alchemy workshop is born from the meeting between the transformative power of art and the tools of Damanhurian alchemy.

The creative act becomes an evolutionary practice. Matter becomes a mirror. Gesture becomes revelation.

Through artistic exploration, we will awaken personal resources that often lie dormant — talents, intuitions, inner directions. This is not about “learning how to create,” but about discovering that we ourselves are a work of art in transformation.

From free expression to awareness, from symbol to presence, we will explore the body, energy, emotions, and our relationship with the environment as elements of one unified alchemical process.

No artistic background is required. Only willingness. A willingness to play, to observe, to allow oneself to be moved and transformed. Art becomes the instrument. Alchemy becomes the orientation.

WEDNESDAY

day 1 - Entering the Field - Damanhur and the Three Transformative Phases

We begin with a circle of connection, creating a shared field of listening and presence. From here, we step into Damanhur’s central area — a place where art, vision, and daily life are interwoven.

Morning

Experiential walk through Damanhur’s central area and its Stone Circuits.
Exploration of creativity as the expression of a People.
Art as a declaration of evolutionary intent

Afternoon

Introduction to the three alchemical phases. We will discover that these are not abstract concepts, but inner movements that we will consciously traverse over the coming days.
Evening preparation for the dream realm.

THURSDAY

DAY 2 - The Temples of Humankind and Art as a Mirror

Morning

The day opens with centering and presence practices — breathing, conscious movement, and the awakening of vitality. A new way of beginning the day by aligning energy and awareness.
This is followed by a meditative journey into the Temples of Humankind, the magnificent underground space dedicated to the highest and most creative dimension of the human being.

Afternoon

We enter the heart of the process, using art as a channel for inner transformation.
Final sharing circle.

FRIDAY

DAY 3 - Nature and Subtle Knowledge

Nature becomes both teacher and mirror.

Morning

Dream sharing.
Alchemical practices to attune to subtle frequencies.
Preparation for a conscious encounter with the elements. In nature, we will work with perception, listening, and presence — not as external observers, but as part of a greater living organism.

Afternoon – Art and Energy

Expressive work through the body.
Sharing circle.
Evening preparation for the dream world.
Optional evening session dedicated to Falco Tarassaco, founder and inspirer of Damanhur, to connect with the original vision from which the philosophy of Damanhur emerged.

SATURDAY

DAY 4 - Emotions in Alchemy - Forces for Evolution

Morning

Continuation of the previous day’s work.
Presence techniques.
Emotions and the body as an alchemical laboratory — that which distills, transforms, and refines. We will work with perception and practical methods for transforming emotions into conscious forces.

Afternoon

Emotional collage: giving visible form to inner movement.

SUNDAY

DAY 5 - The Sacred Woods and Completion of the Process

The journey concludes in contact with plant intelligence.

Morning

Experiential visit to Damanhur’s Sacred Woods.
Immersion in the profound relationship between human beings and the plant world.

Afternoon
- Closing meditation in one of the Halls of the Temples of Humankind.
- Integration of the process we have traversed.
- Recognition of the work accomplished within.

Goura Loto

I am a co-creator and instructor of the Damanhur School of Alchemy and Rituality, and for over twenty-four years I have dedicated myself to the disciplined study and application of spiritual and ritual practice.

Trained directly with Falco Tarassaco, founder and inspirer of Damanhur, I approach Alchemy not as philosophy, but as an operational method for refining perception, energy, and consciousness.

As a guide within the Temples of Humankind, I facilitate meditations and experiential journeys that translate sacred space into inner transformation. I accompany individuals and groups in spaces of exploration, transformation, and remembrance of their most authentic nature.

By integrating tools from Neuro-Linguistic Programming into inner and relational work, I bridge symbolic knowledge with practical application.

My research continues through ongoing collaboration with study groups and retreat participants, where Alchemy is not abstraction — it is the art of working on oneself with precision, constancy, and intention, until consciousness becomes coherent with action.

Arciere Aglio

My path is rooted in Art and, through it, has evolved into a research journey devoted to the transformation of the human being.

Graduated in Painting from the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna, I explored color and form until understanding them as instruments of awareness. Creative writing within Generative Psychopedagogy, cognitive–affective–relational art (DIA Program), and training in Art Therapy have broadened my vision of the artistic gesture as a process of inner integration.

I have worked across theatre, music, and the performing arts, exploring the Globality of Languages as spaces for evolution, guided by the conviction that every form of expression is a threshold between the visible and the invisible. For many years, I have studied Western esoteric traditions and independent research paths, seeking the thread that connects symbol, lived experience, and embodied knowledge.

As a spiritual healer within the Damanhur School of Pranotherapy, I unite energetic and creative dimensions in my work, recognizing the human being as a reality in continuous transformation and refinement.

As Damanhur is spread across several different areas, we recommend renting a car in order to move freely during the program

The group will be of minimum 6 and maximum 12 people (we want to give the right attention to every participant)
